My Journey:

Paranormal Prelude II

The following is a brief explanation of what I believe that the universe is about. I will not say that I 100% unequivocally believe without question these following “beliefs”. The universe is a place full of mysteries that it only grudgingly gives up. My following beliefs are gleaned from a lifetime of paranormal experiences and anecdotal stories from others who have also glimpsed some of life's mysteries. My beliefs are rooted in the quantum nature of the universe and best fits the paranormal evidence that I have accumulated.

First and foremost I believe that the universe is “conscious”. In other words it is wholly composed of conscious energy. You, me, my arm, my foot, rocks, water, sunlight, everything is all conscious energy connected in a holographic wholeness. In this regard I use the term “The Universe” and “God” interchangeably. The consciousness that we like to refer to as God is not merely watching over us and counting the hairs on our head, It is the Universe and It is you and me and It is the hairs on our head.

Also according to the holographic theory, the universe at its core is completely frequency based. What we consider physical objects are actually excitations of certain frequencies. Modern physics (quantum theory and string theory) agrees with this notion, although physics prefers to talk in terms of the particle/wave duality of elementary particles.

The objects of our universe exists across multiple dimensions. The two most important dimensions for us are the physical plane (the world we see around us) and the non-physical astral plane.

These two dimensional planes overlap each other and are only separated by their inherent frequencies. An object in the physical plane has a corresponding non-physical representation in the astral plane. The non-physical “objects” are composed of light and are therefore not affected by gravity. Consider your body for example. You have a physical body and a corresponding astral body that are always connected and energy flows between them. People who have visited the astral plane say that in fact the astral body governs and forms the physical body in such a way that defects to the astral body will be the seed to which diseases can manifest into our physical bodies.

Consciousness is a form of coherent and organized energy. This is what we call the soul. Being massless, the soul is able to travel between the different planes of existence. It is able to bridge the gap between the physical and astral planes, and the non-physical planes beyond that. Our consciousness naturally tends to remain in the lowest energy body that it is attached to, in our case that is our physical body. But it is not stuck only in our physical body. The natural frequency of our consciousness can be raised (accidentally or on purpose) such that it can move to and resonate in the astral plane. This is where an out-of-body experience comes from.

I look at the physical plane and its objects existing at a certain harmonic frequency and the astral plane and its objects existing at a higher harmonic frequency. So when our consciousness moves from the physical to the astral, it will experience a brief period of being out of phase with its environment until it fully raises to the astral frequency. This brief period is called the vibrational state and it can be felt in intensity from tingling to violent shaking or it could be heard as a rush of sound or a roar.

I have experienced this vibrational state occasionally as a tingling but on my first experience it was felt as a violent shaking. I was lying in bed awake and the “shaking” became so severe that even though I knew my physical body wasn't actually shaking, I still had to open my eyes and take a quick peek at my body to be sure. As expected my body was completely still, even though I was experiencing the feeling of my body being shaken at its core. In truth, it felt more like my “essence” from head to toe was being shaken. I closed my eyes and tried to visualize my consciousness leaving my body but unfortunately the vibrations died down and I was unsuccessful.

I was finally able to leave my body on another occasion. After waking up one morning, I lay in bed doing a technique to help induce an OOBE and without warning I rolled out of my body and found myself standing beside my bed. The incident felt real enough but I had very low energy and felt almost like I was drunk. I ended up mostly just standing beside the bed trying to increase my alertness by running my hand over my dresser but after about a minute I spontaneously jumped back into my body. Because I was awake before and after the experience I knew that it was real even though it was a pretty poor OOBE.
