"The Three Scratches"
Off and on, over most of my life starting when I was about 9-12, three straight lines would inexplicably appear on my face or neck area. I always called them "the three scratches" although they more accurately could also have been described as light "cuts". The following is a synopsis of the recurring event.

Shape:
3 exactly parallel lines ||| always exactly the same size, depth, and appearance
Size:
3/8" long, 3/32" between each line (3/16" overall width)
Depth:
Just enough to break the skin in an uninterrupted line, but deep enough to actually separate the skin on the surface. You could feel a slight "flap" of the skin.
Appearance:
Clean and discolored. There was no blood or redness like you might get from a cut or a scratch.
Location:
Face, forehead, neck and shoulder(?) area. They could be at different orientations. It might be possible that they had occurred on other parts of my body, but maybe I only noticed it around my face area because that is where it most likely would be noticed when looking into a mirror or splashing water on my face.
Duration:
Would only last for a day or two, leaving no lasting mark.
Interval:
Never re-appears in a short time span. Always typically about every 3-5 years, although I never documented the actual dates. It was always years between visits, but never longer than four or five years.
Timeframe:
Started when I was 9-12 years old I think (definitely pre-teen, pre 1976). The last occurrence I noticed was maybe fourteen years ago around 2004ish, so the four year cycle seems to be broken (or maybe the lines will never appear again).

Over time I came to the unmistakable conclusion that the "scratches" were not of natural causes due to their consistent occurrences and appearance over decades. To the best of my knowledge I can remember at least one incident at every house, apartment, or trailer that I lived in, with the exception of the first house I lived in (up to the age of 3 or 4) and my last two residences (current and previous). It didn't matter if I was sleeping single or sleeping with a girlfriend or wife. There was no way that I could've been unconsciously scratching or cutting myself since the lines were too consistent in size, distance, and depth, and they were too "clean".
Since I eventually understood that the three lines could not be from natural causes, I had to start looking for supernatural causes. One possible supernatural explanation that I read about is the supposed occurrence of scratches by invisible entities commonly referred to as demons. These scratches often appear in sets of three. The purpose of these demonic entities making these "three parallel scratches" is supposedly to mock their chief rival, the holy trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These scratches can appear on people or objects. The scratches that appear on people, while they might be parallel in the loosest sense, are also somewhat irregular and are usually angry, painful, bloody scars. I often contemplated if my "scratches" could be caused by something demonic or evil. However, one of the more popular reasons for a demon marking someone with scratches is due to the person's emotional state. They might be in a low point in their life due to depression or excessive drug use or they might just be in a negative environment. None of this really matched my three scratches. I have always had a positive outlook on life, never been depressed, and never used hard drugs. In that regard, there has never been a reason for a negative entity to attach itself to me. The biggest difference is that my scratches are relatively tiny, painless, pristine cuts. As someone once said to me, "No respectable demon would leave such girly marks".
I've never had a good explanation for why the three scratches have been recurring on me, but they've always been a reminder to me that there are mysteries and depths to this universe that science alone can't explain or describe. In fact science often turns a blind eye to paranormal phenomenon, refusing to even acknowledge it's existence. As a person who majored in Physics, I understand the reluctance of the scientific community to recognize paranormal phenomena. Paranormal phenomena for the most part are random occurrences not readily validated by the scientific method which relies on repeatability at its core.

Ironically for me, the 3-5 year repeatability of The Three Scratches appearing on me, validates them for me as a bonafide paranormal phenomenon.

As I've said, until now I've never had a good explanation for why the three scratches have appeared on me. That all changed in Dec 2015, when I realized their connection to the 2012 Star Triangle Code that I had discovered. That realization was a game changer for me.
