The 2012 Star Triangle Code

This article is about the discovery and the development of the 2012 Star Triangle Code (2012.STC). I will try to limit this discussion to only the immediate facts relevant to the code itself. There is also a large amount of correlating facts and details that taken together makes one wonder just how deep the proverbial rabbit hole goes. I will save those points for a more exhaustive review of the 2012.STC.
This discussion explores the following areas
History of the Mayan Calendar and an example of coding.
Discovery of the 2012.STC equations.
Numerical analysis of the 2012.STC equations and what are the odds.
Symbolic representations.
The Mayan Long Count Calendar. .
The modern day focus on the year 2012 gets its origins from the Mayan Long Count Calendar.
The Mayans were a civilization in Central America that flourished from around 2000 BC up until the arrival and eventual conquest by the Spaniards in the 1500's AD. The high point of their civilization was from 250-900 AD at which time monuments called stella were created and dated using their Long Count Calendar.
The Long Count was used to track long periods of time. It consisted of multiple cycles of cycles (mostly based on the number 20). These all added up to 1,872,000 days or 5125.36 years termed a "great cycle". From the dated monuments, modern researchers were able to determine the "creation date" of the Mayan Long Count Calendar at August 11, 3114 BC. And 1,872,000 days later is December 21, 2012 AD. The best evidence seems to show that the calendar was developed in the middle of the great cycle and therefore intentionally set to end on Dec 21, 2012. Note that Dec 21st is the winter solstice (shortest day of the year). More significantly, astronomically speaking, is the idea that 2012 is related to a "galactic alignment" between the earth, the sun and the center of the plane of the Milky Way Galaxy on the winter solstice that only occurs every 25,800 years. More accurately this alignment could be said to have occurred over the 36 years from 1981 to 2017 due to the width of the sun and the galactic plane. Many New Age proponents assign significance to the galactic alignment event but for this discussion I will only comment that it appears that this galactic alignment on Dec 21, 2012 is either a cosmic coincidence or was purposely set by the creators of the calendar.
I had been aware of the 2012 Mayan calendar date since at least the late 1980's and I always thought it a curiosity that the date when written out as 12-21-12 was made by flipping the numbers 1 and 2. The 12 is flipped to become 21 and then flipped again to become 12 again. I have always had a strange personal history with the concept of transposed quantities or opposites, so the idea of 12-21-12 was something that resonated with me and drew my attention, although in all of the books that I read on the 2012 subject I never once saw any recognition of this transposition of numbers in the date by the authors.
It would be the concept of flipping, or rotating, or inverting that would eventually lead me to the 2012 Star Triangle Code. Before I take you on that journey though, I suppose I will first show you our destination, the 2012.STC...
There are three simple equations that lie at the heart of the Star Triangle Code ...
313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
73 + 210 + 73 = 356
313 + 212 = 525
This is one such representation of the code:

The three equations above are based on our Gregorian Calendar for the year 2012. They are encoded into the calendar.
In the year 2012 when I first uncovered this code I tended to refer to this diagram as the 2012 Black Triangle Sun Diagram (BTS.2012). More recently though I have adopted the "STC" name to reflect the symbolism of the Star Triangle and to reflect the fact that the equations are coded into the 2012 calendar.
I intend to demonstrate in this article that the 2012.STC was not merely an "accident" of random numbers coming together to form a cohesive union, but in fact must have been developed under the direction of some intelligence acting over thousands of years. It is merely conjecture on my part but I believe that the Star Triangle Code is both a message to tell us that we are not alone and also points to knowledge that might "cure" our diseased world.
[Note: Later in 2017 I discovered that the equations pointed to a coordinate in the Sudan desert and I now suspect that this coordinate may hold the key to the overall purpose of the 2012.STC. More information on that in a future document in 2020.]
To me the message that we are not alone is obvious once you study how the 2012.STC was created. In order to have a message, you obviously must have a messenger. The idea that the message might contain hidden knowledge to help mankind is just my gut feeling as to why the message is revealed now at this dangerous time of transition for our species, at a time when humanity could render itself obsolete in so many different ways.
Before I get into the development of 2012.STC I would first like to show you an example of how information can be encrypted into seemingly random data. Look at the following set of seemingly random numbers below.
The first clue that you might notice is that all of the numbers range from 1 to 26.
There are 26 letters in the alphabet so maybe these numbers correspond to letters as such...
Therefore,
At this point nothing really jumps out until you notice the pattern on the bottom row.
Every other letter is ascending X,Y,Z,A,B and every other letter is descending W,V,U,T,S,R.
Since the bottom row has a pattern, we would like to “normalize” the bottom row by performing an addition and subtraction on each of the columns.
After doing this the bottom row now is equal to 23 or “W”.
Note that the only valid numbers are 1 to 26 so if the calculation results in a number greater than 26 then you must subtract 26 from that number, such that 27=1, 28=2, 29=3, etc.
If the calculation results in a number less than 1 then you must add 26 such that 0=26, -1=25, -2=24, etc.
Now we can see another pattern of numbers diagonally from the lower left corner 23,22,21,20,19,18 and then descending down diagonally 18,19,20,21,22,23.
If we now normalize each row to make the diagonal pattern consistent (i.e. = 23) by adding +1 to the second row, +2 to the third row, etc. we get:
Therefore,
At this point we might be pleased with ourselves for finding a triangle pattern in an apparently random set of numbers/letters, but if you are clever enough to look further you will discover that by bumping each letter to the next highest letter you will discover the final solution.
The words RED, BLUE, and GREEN magically appear within the triangle!
The point I am trying to demonstrate here is that by the time you have arrived at the final solution there can be no doubt that the initial set of numbers was in fact not random. Someone had arranged them in such a way that all someone else had to do was discover a few simple rules in order to reveal the message. Furthermore you can understand that these three words (red, blue, and green) are not random. They are all colors, and in fact they are three primary colors that can be combined to create the color white.
I created the above example to demonstrate the concepts behind the fact that the 2012.STC even exists. In order to create my above example, I had to work backwards from the final solution and embed some encoding rules so that its initial state appeared at first glance to be random. In the same way, whoever or whatever created 2012.STC had to look thousands of years into the future and direct, affect, and anticipate current events. I can think of no entity on this earth that has the power or the ability to manipulate events so that the 2012.STC comes into existence. I will revisit that discussion later.
As a final thought, remember that the only reason I created the above example was for the purpose of relaying ideas to the reader and to get them to think. I think 2012.STC was created for the same purpose: To get us to think! Of course, the 2012.STC is only useful to us if we know it exists and for that it had to first be discovered. This is the story of its discovery...
Discovery of the 2012.STC Equations.
In April 2012 as I was surfing the internet I came across a video about a "Black Triangle on the Sun..." It had appeared back in the early part of March. It was taken by NASA's SDO (Solar Dynamic Observatory) satellite that was launched in 2010 to observe the sun in greater detail across various wavelengths of light. Only since the launch of this satellite have we been able to record the sun's activities in such detail.
This is the picture of the Black Triangle on the sun on March 13th, 2012:

The triangle first rotated within view of the orbiting SDO satellite around Mar 9-10 and was centered (as viewed from the Earth) on March 13th. The black triangle was in fact what is known as a coronal hole. It is not in reality a "hole", but is merely a cooler area on the surface of the sun caused by magnetic fields which cause localized areas to appear darker in contrast with the surrounding face of the sun. Coronal holes are usually smaller and irregular in shape. In fact looking at SDO video from 2010-2016 this is the only regular shape to appear across the observed wavelengths.
Back in 2012 I was well read on the apocalyptic literature and movies surrounding the year 2012 centered mostly around the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar which set Dec 21, 2012 as the end of it's 5125 year cycle. Many people ascribed the "end" of the calendar to be the end of an age, with potentially catastrophic results to our current civilization.
With the "impending doom" of our civilization looming and seeing the striking black triangle on the face of the sun, I began to take notice as it being a possible sign to look deeper. Early on in my research I discovered that the "triangle-in-circle" symbolism has been used often throughout the centuries. The most vivid image I came across was the following created in the early 1700s. It shows the name of God "YHWH" (Yahweh) in Hebrew letters. This arrangement of letters is also known as the Tetragrammaton.

At this time I will not get into any conjecture about the spiritual nature of the 2012.STC, but suffice it to say that such imagery propelled me to push further to understand what was going on.
In the past I had often converted months & days into a number. In this manner I saw that March 13th = 0313 and I noticed pretty quick that 313 is a prime number. I also checked and found that March 13, 2012 was the 73rd day of the year. 73 is also a prime number. Because of my interest in Dec 21, I also checked and found that Mar 13th was 283 days before Dec 21. 283 is also a prime number. So right away I had three prime numbers (313, 73, 283) associated with the March 13th triangle date using the 2012 calendar and the Dec 21st date.
It was important that these three numbers were prime numbers. Prime numbers are those numbers that cannot be divided by any number other than 1 and itself. The discovery of a pattern of prime numbers being created by some source other than mankind has been a sort of holy grail of organizations such as SETI as they search for intelligence beyond our earth. The reason for this is that no known natural process can create a "sequence" of prime numbers. So if we see a signal from space containing a series of prime numbers, it will almost assuredly have been produced by some extraterrestrial intelligence. As Carl Sagan wrote in his book Contact, "The prime numbers are to attract our attention".
The three prime numbers that I had uncovered that were related to March 13th could be merely a coincidence so I needed to look deeper. In order to explore the significance of these 3 primes, I created a table using three sets of numbers based on the 2012 calendar and the Dec 21st date.
As a shorthand notation, I will designate these three date sets as follows:
D+ = Days from Jan 1 [ascending values] 1, 2, 3, 4 ... 354, 355, 356
D- = Days until Dec 21 [descending values, a countdown] 355, 354, 353 ... 3, 2, 1, 0
MD = The "MonthDay" [ascending values] 101, 102, 103 ... 1220, 1221
Note: that the MonthDay is my own creation of converting the month and day into a number.
(Jan 1 = 101, Jan 2= 102, Jan 31= 131, Feb 1 = 201, and so on)
The purpose of creating these date sets was to find the days where three prime numbers occurred (i.e. converged).
As a reference, this is a list of the first 220 primes:

It turns out there are only four such convergence dates:
Jan 3: 3, 353, 103
Jan 7: 7, 349, 107
Mar 13: 73, 283, 313
Oct 9: 283, 73, 1009
I will set my focus on the last two dates since March 13th obviously seems important due to the Sun Triangle and Oct 9 is the mirror of the 73 and 283 numbers. I have chosen to disregard Jan 3 and Jan 7 in the further developments (maybe one day I will have some relevance for them, but for now I view them merely as artifacts). The fact that 73 and 283 numbers are flipped in the two dates of interest will be a common theme (flips, mirrors, rotations) in analyzing the 2012.STC diagram later.

Finally, we want to look at the date ranges for MD & D+ :

Which leads us finally to the first two equations of the 2012 Star Triangle Code ...
MD Equation: 313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
D+ Equation: 73 + 210 + 73 = 356
In a sense, you can say we "triangulated" three prime numbers in order to find the two dates needed (Mar 13 and Oct 09) in order to formulate our STC equations.
On face value, these two equations don't look particularly special mathematically. However, the numbers within these equations are symbolically powerful. These two equations will need to be analyzed independently as they convey both differing and similar concepts.
Analysis of the 2012.STC Equations
First we will look at the MD equation: 313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
As mentioned earlier, when it comes to the year 2012, I had always been intrigued by the concept of flips or rotations. Most notably I looked at the date 12-21-12 as flipping the numbers 1 and 2. The Mayan calendar (and their perception of time and history) was based on repeating cycles. Some of the apocalyptic predictions for 2012 included the Sun's magnetic field flipping or reversing, the earth's magnetic field reversing, or even the earth physically flipping on its axis. The sun and earth do periodically flip their magnetic fields but scientists assure us it would not cause any mayhem. However the earth physically flipping 180° was and is preposterous. So as you can see, the theme of "something" flipping in 2012 was one of the ideas at the time.
Using the concepts of flipping and rotating I came up with the following interpretation for the numbers of the MD equation. The best font for viewing these flips/rotations is a modern digital style font such as
I will first create two sets of numbers based upon flips or rotations.
I will call these two number sets respectively the 180° Numbers and the 360° Numbers.
I will be dealing primarily with 3 digit numbers from 100 to 999.
If you want to better visualize these "flips" you might want to write a number on something you can see thru and then flip it so that you are seeing it from the backside. The flip can be horizontal (left to right) or vertical (up and down). A "rotate" of a number is just that: rotate the number 180° until it is upside down.
180° Numbers are of the form "X1Y". The middle number is always "1" and denotes an axis of rotation. The first number "X" is rotated or flipped 180° to become the number "Y".
The 3 digit numbers from 100-999 that can be described in this way are (F=flipped, R=Rotated)
111(F/R), 212(R), 313(F), 215(F), 512(F), 515(R), 619(F), 916(F), 818(F/R) = 9 numbers
360° Numbers are of the form "XYX". The first number "X" is rotated or flipped 180° to become the number "Y". The number "Y" is then rotated or flipped 180° to become the number "X" again.
The 3 digit numbers from 100-999 that can be described in this way are (F=flipped, R=Rotated)
111(F/R ), 252(F), 525(F), 696(R), 969(R), 222(R), 555(R), 333(F), 888(F/R) = 9 numbers
Note: The number 111 is a special number as it fits all cases, i.e. for 180° it can be flipped or rotated, and for 360° it can be flipped or rotated. It is not exclusively a 180° number, nor is it exclusively a 360° number. It is in fact a unique case symbolizing all possibilities (it will be discussed in detail in a later document).
So now looking at our MD equation: 313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
We see that 313 & 212 are both 180° numbers and 696 is a 360° number.
The total 1221 is larger than our sets of 3 digit numbers but remember that 1221 is the MD number for the overall calendar date of 12/21/12 or "122112" which is a 360° number based on rotating 12.
So it is shown that all 4 numbers 313, 696, 212, and 1221 can be described as flippable numbers.
And looking deeper at the relationship between 313 and 212, we can see that
313 + 212 = 525
Note that 525 is also a 360° number. So in this case, two 180° numbers equals one 360° number:
MD2 Equation: 313 + 212 = 525
MD2° Equation: (180°) + (180°) = (360°)
Just to show you how special the MD2 equation above is, just realize those are the only two such 180° numbers that can be added together to make a 360° number. And those two numbers 212 & 313 just happen to be in my MD equation. They are two halves of a whole.
So now you have been shown the development for the three equations of the 2012.STC diagram. As a reminder, I came up with the equation (313 + 696 + 212 = 1221 [12-21-12]) based on a convergence of three sets of prime numbers based on the year 2012 and showed that they are a special set of numbers that can be graphically flipped or rotated. So what's the big deal you might ask?
Well, the big deal is that I believe finding the numbers 313, 696, and 212 is similar to finding the words RED, BLUE and GREEN in the encryption example I demonstrated earlier. And the date 12-21-12 is like finding the enveloping triangle in my encryption example. Just like the words red, blue and green were coded into a 6 by 11 table, the numbers 313, 696, and 212 were coded into the 2012 calendar. In other words they are unlikely to have shown up randomly without some intelligent manipulation.
So what exactly do I mean by "unlikely"? ...
Lets look first at the three numbers 313, 696, 212.
Note that the odds of randomly getting a 180° or a 360° number are the same, since there are 9 of each from the numbers 100 to 999 (a range of 900 numbers)
A simple calculation of the odds of getting these three numbers combined symbolically as shown in the 2012.STC diagram is:

9/900 x 9/900 x 9/900
1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 = 1 / 1,000,000 (A one in a million chance!)
But wait there's more!
The 1221 total is also a rotated number, as it is shown to be the overriding date 12-21-12, a 360° number.
The only six dates in any given century that can be rotated/flipped in this way to make a 360° number are:
01-10-01 (Jan 10, 2001) (F/R),
02-20-02 (Feb 20, 2002) (R)
03-30-03 (Mar 30, 2003) (R),
10-01-10 (Oct 01, 2010) (F/R)
11-11-11 (Nov 11, 2011) (F/R)
12-21-12 (Dec 21, 2012) (R)
Note that since there are 36,525 days in a century, the odds of any random date being a 360° date is 6 / 36,525 or 1 out of 6087.5.
So the calculation of the overall odds of getting the four numbers combined symbolically as shown in the 2012.STC diagram is:

1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/6087.5 = 1 / 6,087,500,000
In other words a 1 in 6 billion chance
The odds might actually be worse. It can be shown that in order to get all of the numbers (212, 696, and 313) to work out, then Dec 21 has to be the 356th day of the year (which is only true during a leap year). Of the six 360° dates only 12-21-12 is in a leap year. Therefore it is the only date within any given century that could possibly work with the 2012.STC. One day out of 36,525 days!
So recalculating, now the calculation of the odds of getting these four numbers combined are...

1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/36,525 = 1 / 36,525,000,000
In other words a 1 in 37 billion chance.
In addition to these almost impossible odds consider the fact of the MD2 & MD2° equations: 313+212=525 and 180°+180°=360°. As stated earlier this is the only possible equation of two 180° numbers equaling a 360° number. At the very least the odds that the two 2012.STC 180° numbers added to a 360° number are 1/100. So maybe the odds are now ..
(212) (696) (313) (12-21-12) (180°+180°=360°)
1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/36,525 x 1/100 = 1 / 3,652,500,000,000
In other words a 1 in 3.7 trillion chance.
Now at this point it seems like I'm just piling on, but when I initially stated that the odds of randomly producing the 2012.STC diagram was unlikely, this was what I meant: 1 out of 3.7 trillion odds.
If you played a computer game where you had a 1 out of 3.7 trillion chance of "winning" on each individual hit or attempt, and you enthusiastically hit a button ten times every second, then on average it would take you 11,725 years to expect to win once. And that's 24 hours a day without breaks.
Also reviewing 6 years of SDO video of the sun from 2010-2016 there only appears to be two instances of a "triangle" on the sun. One date being 3/13/2012 and the other being 6/6/2012 when a less defined triangle appeared on the sun. So 2 times in 6 years (2000 days) means an estimated 1 out of 1000 chance of a triangle appearing on 3/13/2012. Note that the other triangle (also appearing in 2012) was interesting due to the fact that the planet Venus transited the sun on that date and crossed the tip of the triangle. [see below]
To put it plainly, it would seem that a code was embedded or encrypted into our leap year Gregorian calendar based on the date Dec 21. The fact that this "code" is most likely based on the exact year of 2012 is reinforced by both the Mayan Calendar end date and a Black Triangle appearing on our sun on Mar 13, 2012 during the first leap year that we (NASA) had a satellite observing the sun in great detail. That code graphically is shown as the 2012.STC diagram.
As for now, I will end this part of the discussion regarding the MD (MonthDay) equations, but I want to mention a few important things for consideration.
In order for the 2012.STC to be encoded in the Gregorian calendar several aspects had to come to fruition. . .
1. The Long Count Calendar had to be created by the Mayans and set with an end date ending thousands of years into their future.
2. The Gregorian calendar (created in 1582) had to be created to correct the Julian calendar (created in 46 BC) with year one being set properly (Jesus' supposed birth year) and with the leap year adjustment (Feb 29) occurring before Mar 13th.
3. Possibly most importantly, the symbols that we use for numerals (1,2,3,4...) had to be of the proper shapes in order to allow for a rotation of one number to form another number. Our numbers are derived from Hindu-Arabic numerals but the look and shape of those numbers has evolved over the centuries among different cultures. There was no way to predict what the current standardized shape of our numerals might be! In fact the truest representation of the numeral 2 rotating 180° to become a numeral 5 is by using the modern digital font created in the early 1970's. It could just as likely had occurred that no numeral could be rotated to show another numeral such as 1/1, 2/5, 3/3, 6/9, 8/8.
I will go into greater detail on the above subject in another article.
So right now I have shown four developed equations and discussed the first three.
MD Equation: 313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
MD2 Equation: 313 + 212 = 525
MD2° Equation: (180°) + (180°) = (360°)
D+ Equation: 73 + 210 + 73 = 356
Another interesting look at the D+ equation shows that
73 + 210 + 73 = 356
(70+3) + (70x3) + (70+3) = 356
+ x +
We can see that when you eliminate all of the similar features of the equation you have a "+ x +" configuration. Using our rotational symbolism, if you take the "+" and rotate it 45° you get an "x". If you rotate it again you again get an "+"
So you can see that rotational symbolism is embedded in all three MD, MD2, and D+ equations.
Not a lot of interesting things appear to be going on with the D+ equation, but it's introduction to "Star Numbers" will be of paramount importance in examining the numerological connections between many aspects surrounding the 2012.STC.
The D+ Equation was the first equation that I formulated after seeing the triangle on the sun, but I saved it for last in this discussion because it is not so much a mathematical equation as it is a symbolic equation. In a sense the first three equations can appeal to logic and reason. The D+ equation appeals to emotion and it's examination takes us ...
Symbolisms ... Deeper down the rabbit hole.
The astronomical odds against the formulation of the MD equations of the 2012 Star Triangle Code are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other numeric and symbolic "coincidences" involved in this discussion, that it boggles the mind. I call my discovery The 2012 Star Triangle Code not just because of the black triangle on our sun (our star), but also because of a deep connection to the number 73 as displayed in the D+ Equation and to a connection to a special list of numbers that are called "star numbers". I had never heard of "Star Numbers" prior to my STC research, but now it seems they have overtaken my life. I suspect that few people have heard of star numbers so let me make an introduction. Remember that the star triangle on the sun appeared on the 73rd day of the year.
D+ Equation: 73 + 210 + 73 = 356
Star Numbers.
The number 73 is considered a "star number". Referring to Wikipedia...
The star number represents a six-pointed "star".
This star can also be described as two inverted triangles shown as such.
Therefore the number 73 represents a Star-Triangle assembly. The triangles are in opposite orientation to each other. They are rotated or flipped 180° to each other the same as the MonthDay MD#s they are associated with. Remember our two equations.
MD Equation: 313 + 696 + 212 = 1221
D+ Equation: 73 + 210 + 73 = 356
(180°) (180°)
The numbers 313 and 212 are associated with 73 days.
Also 313 and 212 are rotated/ flipped 180° numbers and 73 is symbolically rotated /flipped triangles.
The sum of the MD Equation is 1221 and 1221 = 111 x 11.
Remember that 111 is the only number that is both a 180° and 360° number
Also 111 = 37 x 3 so ... 1221 = 37 x 3 x 11
So therefore, both the MD and D+ equations contain Star Numbers.
You will also notice that the inverted triangles symbol is also a symbol of Judaism. It is called the Star of David known in Hebrew as the Shield of David which is a generally recognized symbol of Jewish Identity and Judaism. The term "Shield of David" is also used in the Siddur (Jewish prayer book) as a title of the God of Israel.
Therefore you can see God symbolism within the 2012 Star Triangle Code ..

Another coincidence related to the God of Israel is seen when looking at the Hebrew calendar. The Hebrew year 5772 correlates to the Gregorian year 2012.
5772 = 13 x 37 x 12. 13 & 37 are star numbers ✡ , and 12 is one of the holy numbers of Judaism
(The number 5772 will be examined more closely in further articles.)
The Hebrew year 5772 is dated from the supposed biblical creation of the Universe and Earth as shown in the creation story detailed in the Hebrew Old Testament in Genesis 1:1. The article that I have written “Genesis111” details the many correlations between the first verse of the Bible “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” and the 2012.STC and the Star Numbers.
I am not stating specifically that the 2012 Star Triangle Code is created by the God of Israel, but the symbolism seems to show a deeper emotional connection to God. The aliens also might be doing God's bidding either knowingly or not.
